The La Kretz Innovation Campus is a $46 million, 61,000-square-foot cleantech industry hub in downtown Los Angeles that is home of the LA Cleantech Incubator as well as the offices for two Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) energy efficiency programs. The LA Cleantech Incubator is a nonprofit entity created to enable development of clean technology start-up businesses in Los Angeles by offering flexible office space, business coaching and access to expertise and capital. The property consists of a one-story former manufacturing building that has been redeveloped to house tenant offices, conference rooms, and workshop and classroom space. The project’s electronic media, presentation and communication technologies are critical resources within this creative and collaborative work environment. Waveguide provided AV, IT, security and acoustics consulting for the project. The building was designed to meet LEED-Gold standards.
