This $79 million project brings together six departments within the college to facilitate collaboration and instruction. The building design is focused on experiential training in shared spaces including simulation laboratories, assessment rooms and treatment rooms. Waveguide provided AV infrastructure and systems design, as well as acoustic consulting throughout the building. The five-story, 203,000-square-foot building includes more than 20 laboratory spaces, including a nursing health assessment lab. The college houses a 290-seat lecture hall, more than 25 classrooms of various sizes, five conference rooms, a board room and a wide variety of wet and dry lab spaces. The building is LEED Silver certified.
