The University of New Hampshire Paul College of Business and Economics in Durham, New Hampshire, is a new $48 million, 115,000-square-foot academic building featuring 16 technology-enabled classrooms, 25 collaborative break out rooms for project work, a two-story great hall for informal gathering and special events, and a courtyard for outdoor events and activities. Waveguide provided AV design and software programming services to create user-friendly, advanced technology systems inspired by ever-changing teaching pedagogies in the new technology landscape. UNH’s technology systems enhance the education experience through the use of problem-based learning (PBL) technologies as well as the ability to record and download lectures, enjoy hands-on learning in experiential facilities, and work in small teams sharing documents. The building will be a LEED Gold facility.
