Waveguide lead the audiovisual system design for this global oil and gas company’s 800,000-square-foot, 40-floor office renovation. Working within the parameters of the corporate office standards, we developed more than 550 AV-enabled spaces to supplement a collaborative open-office environment. The specialty areas included four separate conference centers, a 200-seat auditorium, CATV distribution, and three operation centers. For this project we also consulted on usability of conferencing spaces, resulting in major refresh of room functionality to match business case; developed automated, “controllerless,” AV-enabled rooms to reduce equipment while increasing usability; and developed project bid specifications, contractor evaluation and selection, and AV systems commissioning.
