Scott Walker, CTS-D, LEED® AP, is founder and president of Waveguide LLC, a leading AV consulting and services firm that serves world-renowned clients like The Coca-Cola Company, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. With more than 34 years of experience as an independent technology consultant and 27 years as president, Walker has led Waveguide through multiple periods of growth and transformation, including its 2016 acquisition by Compass Group USA. Under Compass Group and its business and industry division, Eurest USA, Walker continues to lead Waveguide and has been responsible for cross-functional initiatives that bring together Compass Group’s food, technology, data and corporate services to enable clients to work safer and smarter.
In addition to his leadership of Waveguide, Walker’s impact on the AV industry and the green building movement is unparalleled. A well-respected thought leader, he has served in many leadership roles, including AVIXA president, where he influenced everything from ANSI standards to smart buildings – earning him a spot in the industry’s inaugural class of the AV Hall of Fame.
