University of Georgia | Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall | Football Coaching Facility

The expanded and renovated University of Georgia Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall is one of the premier athletic facilities of its kind. The $33 million upgrade to the football facility added 53,000 square feet of new space and 23,000 square feet of renovated space, which included team meeting rooms with state-of-the-art technology; a 12,000-square-foot strength and conditioning area with new equipment and video technology; new football coaches offices, including dedicated conference rooms and a video editing suite; a 1,900-square-foot student-athlete lounge, including televisions and a home-theater style game tape room; a new connection to the third-floor museum with an expanded second-floor trophies, awards display area and with video displays; and touch-screen display panels throughout with video highlights of Georgia’s football history. Waveguide provided AV, acoustics and IT consulting and software programming for the project.
