The City of West Hollywood and the County of Los Angeles Public Library system recently completed a new $64 million, 42,000-square-foot City Council Chambers and Library at West Hollywood Park. The Council Chambers includes a 165-seat public meeting room that will now provide a much-needed venue for formal City business meetings as well as a wide range of community events. The project includes technology infrastructure and systems integrated within the public meeting room support improved meeting efficiency, electronic presentations and community television broadcast. Waveguide provided audiovisual and information technology consulting and technology management for the project. As part of the City’s commitment to responsible development and environmental sustainability, the Library achieved a LEED Gold rating.
