Waveguide has always been at the forefront of working both smarter and harder for our clients. While Waveguide was a relatively early adopter of the cloud, we have recently reenergized our cloud strategy to move all our project data to the cloud. Why? Because we understand our clients need to actively manage their AV/IT enterprise, anytime from anywhere.
We have always used the latest software tools to create our AV and IT designs. In 2006, we connected those tools to a database and web frontend, providing our team instant access to product information and metrics like system costs, heat load, power consumption, etc., creating efficiencies in our workflow and accuracy in our work product. Moving these tools to the cloud has allowed us to take these tools to a whole new level for the benefit of our clients.
Using a cloud-based web portal, our clients can get a comprehensive view of their technology deployment. They can sort/filter their data to manage their AV/IT assets and can quickly drill down into regions and facilities to a specific room where they can access relevant information about the current equipment, installation and support to understand warranty coverage, manage software and firmware, and connect with our ongoing support service, Firstwave®.
The cloud is helping us close the circle on true technology-lifecycle management and redefine what full-service technology management means for our industry, but most importantly for our clients.
